Don Dinan was a founding member and longtime owner of the Alexandria Aces, helping bring the team into the Cal Ripken Sr. Collegiate Baseball League in 2008. His vision—to make Alexandria a launchpad for collegiate athletes—set the tone for the Aces’ lasting success and reputation. A passionate baseball fan and historian, Don’s love for the game extended well beyond the field, making him a respected voice in the community and a strong supporter of the sport at every level. His lifelong commitment to baseball, public service, and community excellence made a profound and lasting impact. Don passed away on January 29, 2024.
